5 Real Estate Graphic Design Tools

Real Estate Market Report Cover BlackTools like Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator are too technical for most Realtors so I created a list of 5 real estate graphic design tools that anyone can use to create their own beautiful real estate graphics – with no technical or photoshop skills.

Wouldn’t you like to create graphics like this real estate report cover that I created in about 2 minutes.

If you’re a photoshop wiz you don’t need these tools but if you have limited design skills then you’re going to love this list.

Used together, the five real estate graphic design tools will enable you to create your own real estate graphics without the frustration and expense of hiring graphic designers.

The list is made up of two design tools, a snippet or screen capture tool and two stock image and graphics services:

  1. Canva
  2. Snagit
  3. BoxShotKing
  4. Fotolia
  5. Dreamstime

Canva is the my favorite design tool as it can make anyone look like a graphic designer.

It’s a free online tool that allows you to drag, drop and create just about any digital marketing material. The beauty of Canva is the easy learning curve and the pre-sized modern templates for different media mediums like presentation slides, blog images, social media images, social media covers, documents and flyers. The color palettes are text fonts have that cool modern look and there’s even a section just for real estate templates.

Snagit is a snippet or screen capture tool that you can use to “take a photo” of your slides and convert them into real estate graphics. It’s my favorite tool for creating presentation slides and I use it in every slide deck. It’s an essential tool for creating and adding beautiful images to reports, presentations and eBooks.

BoxShotKing is a tool that you can use to create digital assets like report covers, video holders and DVD cases. In fact there are over 70 templates representing different digital products including iMac, iPad and iPhone templates.

The graphics look professional and are perfect for the real estate industry.

As an example, instead of using plain text to say “download the real estate market report” you can create a visual eCover image for your report (like the one used for this post).

There’s a bit of a learning curve but once you get going you just can’t stop.

Fotolia is a stock image service where I get most of the stock photos I use in my real estate graphics. It’s not the best, biggest or coolest stock image service but it is affordable. Look for the monthly subscription plans.

Dreamstime is another stock image service that I use for real estate and digital icons and graphics. The graphics are designed with a modern flat look and feel and are a very inexpensive way to get quality graphics.

You can easily substitute Fotolia and Dreamtime with other stock image services. The real challenge is price as using sites like iStockPhoto and Getty Images can get very expensive.

The main point I want you to take away from this post is that you can create your own beautiful real estate graphics with no technical or photoshop skills and on a very limited budget.
